Your container solution

Microsoft Azure Kubernetes (AKS) is your key to simple and efficient container orchestration. With this managed Kubernetes service from Microsoft Azure, you can deploy, manage and scale your container applications in no time at all.

AKS takes the work out of your hands by automatically handling tasks such as cluster creation, scaling, maintenance and updates.

Focus on the essentials

With AKS, your developers can focus entirely on developing your applications without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. This is because AKS not only offers automated tasks such as cluster creation, scaling and maintenance, but also integrations with Azure security and monitoring services, as well as support for DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to further optimize your work processes.

Why Microsoft Azure Kubernetes with us?

Why you can rely on us when it comes to Microsoft Azure?

Many years of experience

Since 2014, we have extensive expertise in Azure and have successfully completed a wide range of projects of varying sizes and complexities.

Our experience ranges from small implementations to complex, large-scale enterprise cloud solutions. This long-standing practice makes us a trustworthy partner for your Azure requirements.

We use Azure ourselves.

In addition to our many years of experience with Azure, all our solutions and our own infrastructure are based on Azure, which ensures the highest levels of reliability and scalability.

We host numerous customers (SaaS solutions, customized solutions) and operate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with DevOps ourselves to enable continuous integration and deployment. This extensive use of Azure makes us a competent and efficient partner for your cloud needs.

Azure Infrastructure Designation

The Azure Cloud Partner Designation gives you the confidence and credibility by confirming the strict quality and competence standards of Microsoft.

The award shows that we, as a partner, have in-depth knowledge of the Azure platform and are able to offer first-class solutions. It gives you the security of knowing that your cloud implementation or migration will be carried out by a recognized and specialized partner.

Microsoft Azure Kubernetes FAQs

There are many questions about Microsoft Azure Kubernetes that need to be looked at in detail depending on the customer, scenario or scope. Below are some of the questions we are frequently asked.

What kind of customers do we support?

Explore our comprehensive collection of Azure service references, featuring a diverse range of projects from large-scale international initiatives to smaller local endeavors. Our expertise spans multiple Azure topics, showcasing our versatility and extensive experience. Check out some of our Azure Kubernetes references below.

Do you also offer Azure subscriptions?

“Absolutely! We provide Azure plans through Microsoft’s CSP model. With us, you can manage your Azure subscriptions at competitive rates and track your resources in cost management. You can access this through our marketplace; find more details here.”

What about support?

We also offer support options for your Azure solutions. For Severity A issues (with the CSP model), we even offer 24/7 support through Microsoft Azure. We are also happy to help with migrations or on-call solutions by arrangement.

Is Azure much more expensive than local services?

The statement “Azure is much more expensive than using local services” often does not take into account all the relevant factors. Azure eliminates high initial investments and maintenance costs, offers flexible scalability and enables faster introduction of new applications. Security measures and compliance certifications of Azure are often stricter and more cost-effective than local alternatives. A comprehensive consideration of the total costs often shows that Azure can be more cost-effective and advantageous.

What is Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and how does it work?

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a managed Kubernetes service from Microsoft Azure that makes it easier to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications. AKS provides a fully managed Kubernetes environment where Azure takes care of managing the Kubernetes cluster, upgrades, and security, so that users can focus on developing and deploying their applications.

How do I set up an AKS cluster and what are the best practices?
  • Creation: An AKS cluster can be created via the Azure portal, the Azure CLI or Terraform. The typical process involves specifying details such as the cluster name, Kubernetes version, node size and number.
  • Best Practices:
    • Security: Use RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to manage access rights, enable Azure AD integration and implement network security policies.
    • Scaling: Use automatic scaling for nodes and pods to optimize resource utilization.
    • Monitoring: Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging mechanisms with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
    • Network: Use Azure CNI (Container Networking Interface) for advanced network configurations and apply network policies to control communication between pods.
How do I manage and scale applications in an AKS cluster?
  • Administration: Applications in AKS are defined using Kubernetes manifests (YAML files) that describe deployments, services, and other Kubernetes resources. These manifests can be deployed using kubectl or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Scaling:
    • Automatic scaling: AKS supports the automatic scaling of nodes (cluster autoscaler) and pods (horizontal pod autoscaler).
    • Manual scaling: Nodes and pods can be scaled manually using kubectl scale or the Azure portal.
  • Updates and upgrades: Use rolling updates and canary deployments to minimize downtime and increase reliability. AKS also allows you to perform Kubernetes version upgrades in a managed way.
