The Easy Console In-Call Experience from TwinCap First improves the call management of PSTN calls in Microsoft Teams. The solution also improves the efficiency and user-friendliness of external telephone calls. Easy Console was developed over the past few months in close cooperation with Microsoft Product Management. Microsoft is now presenting the app to the trade fair audience as a showcase app at Enterprise Connect 2025 (March 17, 2025 – March 20, 2025). Enterprise Connect is the leading conference and trade show for enterprise communications and collaboration technologies in the USA.

Individual availability views: Efficient communication

One of the outstanding functions of the Easy Console is the ability to view the presence of employees. The user can also create individual availability views. This function makes it possible to group internal employees (Entra ID users) in clearly arranged views and favorites. This allows the user to see immediately who is available or busy. This ensures smooth internal communication and simplified collaboration.

Calls can be started, chats opened, or e-mails sent with just one click, for example to communicate a callback request. These one-click actions save time and minimize the effort required for everyday communication tasks and call management.

Sending emails with templates: standardized communication made easy

Another key feature of the Easy Console is the ability to send e-mails using predefined templates. Users can create personal e-mail-templates directly in the app, adapted to different languages, support requests or departments. Variables such as call number, recipient’s name, time and date of the call are available and can be automatically inserted into the e-mail. This standardizes and speeds up communication, reduces errors and ensures that important information is consistently transmitted directly on the call.

In addition to the main functions mentioned above, the Easy Console offers other useful functions that optimize call management:

  • Caller history: makes it possible to see immediately who the caller last spoke to and when the call took place. This allows the right contact person to be found immediately. This function requires our Easy Call Report add-on to be installed.
  • Integration of task management: During a call, tasks can be created directly in Microsoft Planner or tasks in personal Outlook. Information from the call is automatically transferred to the task, making it easier to organize.
  • Contact management: Callers can be saved as contacts during the call. One click opens the dialog with a pre-filled number so that an Outlook contact can be created immediately.

  • Configurable on the Easy Platform app: Users can access their personal console configuration within the Teams app – and create personal views, favorites lists and default e-mail-templates (in different languages).
