Die Migrations-Variante setzt auf den bew\u00e4hrten Komponenten des allerseits bekannten <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/exchange\/hybrid-configuration-wizard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hybrid Configuration Wizard<\/a> auf. Der HCW ist zur Gen\u00fcge dokumentiert, auch der abgespeckten Variante haben sich diverse MVP&#8217;s schon angenommen, also nichts weltbewegendes k\u00f6nnte man annehmen. Der Teufel aber steckt wenig \u00fcberraschend im Detail.\u00a0So stand\u00a0diese Migrations-Variante z.B.\u00a0f\u00fcr eine Migration\u00a0nach <i>Office 365 Germany<\/i>\u00a0w\u00e4hrend dem Verfassen dieses Blog-Artikels noch nicht zur Verf\u00fcgung und dieser Zustand wird sich vorl\u00e4ufig nicht \u00e4ndern. Wie man mit <i>Office 365 Germany<\/i> trotzdem den HCW\u00a0nicht vollends aus konfiguriert nutzten kann, erfahren Sie in einem separaten <a href=\"https:\/\/twincapfirst.ch\/de\/blog\/office-365-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Blog<\/a>-Beitrag Office 365 Germany\u00a0&#8211; Notes from the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-migrationsvarianten\">Migrationsvarianten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Migrations-Variante eignet sich vor allem f\u00fcr kleinere Unternehmen (10 &#8211; 200 MA &#8211; technisch&nbsp;ist jedoch auch eine&nbsp;gr\u00f6ssere Anzahl Mailboxen mit dieser Variante migrierbar)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>welche keine Koexistenz-Funktionalit\u00e4t (v.a. Free\/Busy-Abfragen) zwischen Exchange Online und Exchange On-Premises ben\u00f6tigen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>welche auf keiner permanenten Verzeichnis-Synchronisation zwischen Azure AD und AD On-Premises aufsetzen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die vergleichbaren, \u00e4lteren Migrations-Varianten &#8222;Cutover&#8220; oder &#8222;Staged Migration&#8220; eignen sich f\u00fcr die meisten heute eingesetzten On-Premises Exchange-Versionen schon gar nicht mehr und die auf den ersten Blick einfache Variante Export-PST\/Import-PST wird aus meiner Sicht h\u00e4ufig untersch\u00e4tzt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die Datenkonsistenz kann beim Export\/Import der Daten nur mittels Umschalten des MX-Records nach EOP sichergestellt werden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit aller Daten in den Exchange Online Mailboxen kann nicht zeitnah sichergestellt werden (die Daten-Vorsynchronisation mittels PST-Dateien empfehle ich nicht)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weitere Mail-Objekte wie z.B. Verteiler-Gruppen m\u00fcssen im Azure AD von Hand erstellt werden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alle Outlook-Profile m\u00fcssen neu erstellt werden und\u00a0die meisten\u00a0Mailbox-Eigenschaften (v.a. Mailbox-Berechtigungen) gehen beim Export\/Import verloren<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Der PST-Import in Office 365 ist alles andere als performant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bisherige On-Premsies Outlook Web Access URL&#8217;s bekommen keine Weiterleitung konfiguriert<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mailbox-Moves via Office 365 Admin-Portal (Setup\/Data-Migration\/Exchange)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nur auf lizenzierten oder unpers\u00f6nlichen Objekten m\u00f6glich<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nur ein Migrations-Batch aufs Mal konfigurierbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mailbox-Vorsynchronisation nicht m\u00f6glich (die Migrations-Batches werden via Office 365-Portal automatisch erstellt und sind so konfiguriert, dass die Mailbox-Moves gleich abgeschlossen werden)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Der Migrations-Endplunkt wird durch HCW Express Migration oft nicht automatisch erstellt. Das nachtr\u00e4gliche Erstellen via Office 365 Admin-Portal, Setup\/Data-Migration\/Exchange ist jedoch m\u00f6glich: dazu muss mindestens ein \u00f6ffentlicher DNS-Name bekannt sein, unter welchem die On-Premises Exchange Server ins Internet publiziert sind. Der externe Autodiscover-Eintrag muss nicht zwingend vorhanden sein (was bei Firmen, welche keinen nativen, externen Exchange-Zugriff zulassen, absolut der Fall sein kann)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Es wird nicht &#8222;per se&#8220; die aktuellste Version vom AADC herunter geladen (pr\u00fcfen Sie die <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/active-directory\/connect\/active-directory-aadconnect-version-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">AADC-Version-History<\/a>, sofern die aktuellste Version von AADC ben\u00f6tigt wird)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nach der Installation vom AADC wird einem vorgeschlagen, den Express Setup f\u00fcr das einmalige Synchronisieren der Accounts nach Office 365 vorzunehmen. Dieses Vorgehen ist nicht ratsam, da dadurch alle AD-Objekte (Benutzer, Gruppen und Kontakte)\u00a0aus dem konfigurierten On-Premises AD in die Cloud synchronisiert werden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starten Sie AADC-> Tasks-> Synchronization Options-> Sync-> Domain\/OU-Filtering: Filtern Sie mindestens auf OU&#8217;s, welche die zu migrierenden Mailboxen und andere Mail-Objekte enthalten (Mail-Gruppen, Kontakte, etc. werden auch synchronisiert, analog einer\u00a0herk\u00f6mmlichen AADC-Implementation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des Weitern ist es empfehlenswert, den Job-Scheduler und den AutoUpdate vom AADC zu deaktivieren (via PowerShell: &#8222;Import-Module ADSync&#8220;, dann\u00a0&#8222;Set-ADSyncScheduler -SyncCycleEnabled $false&#8220; respektive &#8222;Set-ADSyncAutoUpgrade Disabled&#8220; ausf\u00fchren)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Migration der Mailboxen erfolgt wie oben erw\u00e4hnt mittels Office 365 Admin-Portal. Es ist nicht notwendig, ins Exchange Admin Center zu wechseln. Im Hintergrund werden aber die herk\u00f6mmlichen Objekt-Pr\u00fcfungen durchgef\u00fchrt und &#8222;normale&#8220; Mailbox-Move-Requests generiert. Gerade bei Unternehmungen,\u00a0deren On-Premises Exchange-Umgebung gr\u00f6ssere Maildaten-Volumen hostet, ist es empfehlenswert auf die Variante &#8222;Minimal Hybrid&#8220; auszuweichen. Damit k\u00f6nnen die Mailboxen vorsynchronisiert werden und in einem &#8222;Mini-Big-Bang&#8220; dann\u00a0alle Mailboxen\u00a0in Exchange Online mehr oder weniger zeitgleich\u00a0aktiviert werden. Insgesamt kann res\u00fcmiert werden, dass die\u00a0HCW Express Migration eine pragmatische, relativ einfach zu implementierende Variante ist, um sorgenfrei nach Exchange Online migrieren zu k\u00f6nnen.
